About Tikun 2024
Tikun 2024 is an initiative that calls for repair of Israeli society, to ensure that Israel never returns to the state it was prior to October 7th.
We are reservists from all sectors of society and all political camps, who were called on to serve on October 7th, and who intend to continue to serve for as long as needed, on all fronts.
Goal
As reservists, we view 2024 as pivotal for Israel's future. The toughest battles and decisions lie ahead, defining the path for our nation.
In 2024, we must halt damaging social and political trends, undertaking a profound societal overhaul to address neglected and corrupt elements. By overcoming adversaries, we can forge a new path of growth for Israel.
Our goal is to prevent Israel from reverting to its pre-October 7th condition. We will insist that the solidarity, unity and trust we experienced as soldiers be brought to the public and political discourse. We will ensure that the public, political, and governmental conduct that led to the October 7th tragedy will no longer be part of our lives.
Therefore, we call on all 120 members of Knesset to take responsibility, and to return the mandate to the people.
From our perspective, they are directly responsible for the disaster of October 7th, and for the destructive processes that led to it. They must lead by personal responsibility, stepping aside to make room for new leadership dedicated to public service as a life-long commitment, rather than a means of power. This new leadership should exemplify unifying discourse.
We demand that all candidates commit to forming a broad, Zionist government and adopt respectful discourse, recognizing the imperative of collaboration to confront the challenges ahead.
